Double-action, horrible. Single-action, likely requires re-sighting and/or a lot of practice. I know part of the problem I'm having is the 9mm loads that I'm used to have less recoil than my .357 Mag and .38 Special ammo. I love 9mm. And the shorter 3" barrel, even though it's fluted, has more recoil than I'm used to. I'm convinced that I'm meant to use a 9mm pistol. My 9mm Shield is still my favorite carry and my 9mm HK VP9-SK is my favorite gun for the range and for accuracy. I've always said it feels like an extension of my hand/arm. The HK is still my favorite gun.

I hesitate to post this sidenote, but I have to to help explain why I bought this revolver in the first place. My range didn't have a revolver for me to try out first, SO.....based on my thorough search of review videos and comments from staff at the range I use, I took a chance and bought it. I know, I broke the cardinal rule of trying out a gun before actually buying it, but unfortunately I really didn't have a choice since I wanted it sooner than later. I'm going to the gun store that I use (local) this morning to see what they'll give me for it. I know I'm going to take a monetary hit, but I'm fine with that. No sense keeping a gun that I know now isn't the best for me, plus buying a larger safe to store it in addition to my 9mms.
Well, I really thought I would like it a lot, but after two visits to the range I can see it isn't going to work for me. :( It is an easy gun to carry and maintain, but accuracy with a revolver takes a LOT of practice and I don't have that kind of time unfortunately.
