I did a ton of research from YouTube and forums. There were some awesome scopes but pricing was consideration, so I decided on the primary arms 4-14 FFP 308 ACSS reticle. I got it for $279 off Amazon. I looked at the 223 version in my local gun shop next to a $700 nikon and a $1000 leupold and honestly I thought that for the price difference they were not worth the extra clarity. I thought the ACOG had nicer glass than both of them (although eye relief was pretty bad). I don't hunt, and this won't be my primary SHTF rifle, so I don't need to trust my life to it. It was very clear (especially considering the price) and has an awesome reticle that is ffp. It has parallax and illumination too. Also picked up an Aero Precision mount, so for ~$350 I will be out there banging steel. For being on a college student budget I am pretty happy. I can take the extra money and put it towards ammo or a free floated rail. I will be sure to update how it goes. Everything should be here by Friday, so I am going to try to shoot on Saturday if time allows! I attached a picture of the reticle Sent from my SM-N950U using the svtperformance.com mobile app
