Yep, of course. On first look, I thought it was an FN-15. Nice choice for your new scope. What's your usual shooting range?

Does anyone know where I can find 1/2" effective length #4-40 socket head cap screws that accepts a t10 bit? I found there here but they are out of stock. I'd like regular steel. I find stainless gauls too easily.

I have some coming from Amazon but they are 1/16" Allen wrench. I'd like to be able to use a t10 so I can use a tq wrench that I'll aquire in a few weeks. If anyone has preferences on a scope tq wrench, I'm all ears. I'm leaning toward the popular Wheeler options.

The screws are for my p80 build. The #4-40 .250" long are too short to work with my slide/new optic. However the new sights are on. They look rediculous with no optic.

My son is trying to get a braced AR pistol before the ruling is entered into the Federal Register, we went back to the gun store today, thought I'd try out the Holosun 510c green dot and HM3X magnifier, not a bad combo for $475.

Uh, what. Have you been following the shit show? He'd have to register it as a SBR. You're not getting to keep it.

I wouldn't not be posting that photos online.

I’ve got mine in a trust, he’s going to get a S&W probably, not too much expense. I figure if he gets it before the ruling is in effect then he atleast can have a short barrel without paying the $200 tax stamp.

Yeah, you’re right - probably shouldn’t post the pic, whenever I post pics I make sure you can’t see the serial #’s. I’m sure if they perused this thread they’d have enough work to keep them busy for a while…

No no no, you will not get a SBR tax stamp for free. Follow what is going on with that as it’s just a trap to get people to self incriminate.

Yeah, basically 10-40 Million people have to submit in the next 120 days... And if the ATF can't process your NICS background in 88 days, you'll get an automatic rejection and provided proof of possessing am illegal SBR.

What do you think is the chance you'll see the ATF clear 20M requests in 90 days? Current lead time is already 6-12 months.

And you're still stuck with a stupid NFA item. It's never been the $200 tax stamp that's prevented me from getting an SBR. It's the whole storage, transportation, out of state, etc BS.

Below is a copy of the final rule pertaining to registration, looks like as long as you file within the 120 days you are in compliance until you receive notification of approval or denial. The clock starts ticking when the rule is entered into the Federal Register, whenever that may be...

Provided the registration form is properly submitted and documented within the defined time period, the Department will consider individuals to be in compliance with the statutory requirements between the date on which a person’s application is filed and the date a person receives ATF approval or disapproval of the application. After the 120- day registration period following publication of this rule, registration of previously made or manufactured weapons with a “stabilizing brace” that constitute NFA firearms will not bepermitted. If I owned an ar pistol, no way would i convert it to an SBR. No ****ing way. There is so much bullshit that goes along with an SBR. Bullshit that can get you ****ed.

if I had an ar pistol, that shit would evaporate into the ether and not pop back up until the tides change.
