You need to come back more often. (y) It's not just this thread that's still going strong. This SITE is still going strong, along with its numerous GREAT forums.

Has anyone done any efile stuff for supressors, SBR or SBS? I heard the wait time is very short. I am thinking about going do a trust and get some goodies.
I setup a trust and efiled a few form 4’s for cans a little while back, I think they were certified at the end of April or beginning of May - they advertise 90 days or less with efile but we will see

I just started the process today. The 90 days does not start until you file the eform which can take a week to amonth to get. I paid for the stamp through silencer shop and did the edoc signature. I purchased the silencer through my FFL dealer. Now it's a waiting game. If I get it before the end of the year that awesome but guessing it will be later spring next year.

I'll see about suppressor types and cost while im there. If any, ill just do something for my taurus tx22. I'd like to depin my DD rifle but that's another freakin $200 right off the top. Ill see. This stuff adds up quick.

My first AR. Springfield Saint.

Don't minD the dumbass NY neutered fixed mag. That will be drilled out and removed ASAP.

I know that's for NY and CT, but how does the fixed magazine work? I assume if it's 10 rounds, this is their way of ensuring no more than 10 rounds can be used? :(

They remove the mag release button and put something "permanent" in its place. Just a matter of drilling the small screw out of it and installing a AR maglock and a kingpin.

And yea, with the fixed mag you have to reload through the ejection port or by removing the upper. Pain in the ass.

There is no mag release button, you have to use a pin tool to release the loaded mag. This is what makes it a "fixed mag", no way to do a simple tactical reload.

Thanks for the replies. That's about what I thought. Can it get any worse? Probably.
