Got my new nightstand gun safe yesterday. Nice lit interior and slightly bigger than my old one. This one holds two 9mm pistols along with two 10-round magazines each. One in each pistol and a second ready as backup.

The Gen iii? I've used it before, it's phenominal. Glass is crystal clear, and eye relief/field of view is perfect. Just as good or better than the Gen ii
Nice weaponry. That should be on my wish list. I won't even bother asking how it shoots. Pure precision!
We dont have much for distance ranges out here in northern Illinois. But this thing is good for grapefruit size groupings at 600 yards if you're a decent shot. I'm sure a better shooter could get that down quite a bit, i'm not the greatest.
Recently picked up a Sig Rattler so ran some mags through a few pistols yesterday. Still waiting on optics for the AR9 and Rattler.
Nice foursome there. Your post just reminded me to visit my shooting range this week. And see how my S&W Magnum revolver (on consignment) is doing.
Optics showed up and got mounted today. Supposed to be decently warm on Wednesday so I can get them sighted in then. Put a couple cans in jail last week as well, Rattler is going to catch a dedicated Dead Air Sandman S

It has been quite some time. There is a firearm subforum in roadside.
Just a random assortment from the last year or so.
Sold my S&W Model 19 .357Mag revolver. That was my first "mistake" purchase, so lesson learned. My range didn't have any revolvers that I could try out, so I took a chance on this one. Accuracy after repeat visits to my local range was, let's just say, horrible. I guess I'm just not a revolver guy. Going to the range with my daughter to get some practice with my HK VP9-SK next week. She's really getting into this. It's become a family thing. My son doesn't get to the range much, but he has a fair varied arsenal.
Just ordered a S&W Shield Plus 9mm with red dot optic. I get a $50 rebate, too. This will replace my existing Shield 9mm that I've had for about 6 years. I've really wanted a red dot optic and this one also has a 10+1 magazine (max allowed in CT) whereas my existing Shield only has 8 round magazines. This will be my carry pistol.
