Still no 9mm ammo available locally here in CT. Checking a couple of the online sites I've used in the past (usually paying an average of .25 per round), I'm seeing $2.00 a round for target practice and $2.60 a round for defense. Most I checked, though, are showing Out Of Stock. At those prices, my range visits would jump from around $20 to $200 once I exhaust my inventory. This really sucks!

I have 1,100 rounds of 380 and I am not going to the range to shoot. No telling when ammo will be available here again. California sucks!!! I can''t even buy a gun with more than a 10 round magazines. Wanted a Springfield Hellcat 9mm

Thought I was going to go to the gun show in Jacksonville Yesterday morning. There must have been at least a hundred people in line. Admission was 10 bucks per Adult . I said to myself I wouldn't wait in that line to see Jesus.

Do you have any local Cabela’s? Bass Pro stores? If so talk to an employee when they get there trucks. Then get there about twenty minutes before they open. I’ve had luck with that.

Anyone knowledgeable on bayonets? I got this one with a few other things a while back and it doesn't fit any of the guns I got it with. No idea what it's for or when it's fromView attachment 1685216View attachment 1685217View attachment 1685218View attachment 1685219View attachment 1685220View attachment 1685221View attachment 1685222

Pythons are awesome, and in what I consider the “Keeper” category so if you get one I don’t think you’ll regret it....and they hold their value very well.
That being said S&W’s are also typically excellent pieces at a much lower price point (still not cheap) hard to go wrong with them either.
Colt Trooper MK III’s are in similar price range as S&W’s and also excellent piece’s.
Revolvers in general high really gone up in price over the last few years, I think auto’s became so popular a lot of people got out of them completely, which made them very inexpensive for a time. Now there seems to be a rediscovery or re ignition of interest in wheel guns.
Model 1917-2.jpg

If there is a single firearm in my collection that I will NEVER part with, it is my Great Grandfathers Colt Model M1917 .45. He carried this with him fighting Germans in WWI. He was with the 3/5 at Belleau Wood. Pistol was manufactured in February 1917, and issued to my GGF in July 1917.

Just got an email from Cheaper than Dirt. New shipment of Winchester .45 service duty in stock, $129.89 for 50 rounds. Better hurry up and get yours, there is a limit of 1. Think a name change is in order for this company.

I was always under the impression you guys couldn't get them delivered to your house and had to pick them up at a licensed dealer. Or is that only for guns bought from another state?
