I just stippled the grip on my newest carry. Only 22 oz, holds 19 rounds and has the best trigger type of all time.(1911) This is a Bul Armory SAS II Ultralight.

Very nice! Did you pick it up in NC? I've been thinking about one of these. How do you like it?

I like it a lot. I actually got it from gparms.com out of Tennessee. Personal Safety and defense in Garner ,NC is carrying Bul Armory products though. I know they could get you one.

Gunna try my hand at milling an 80% lower and matting it with an Adam's Precision 14inch upper. Buying guns in Cali has been nothing but a head ache lately. Figured I'd do the work around and put some work into a build. Gunna put some upgraded roller pins, knock out pins, grip and a JARD trigger in it.View attachment 1637223View attachment 1637224View attachment 1637225View attachment 1637226View attachment 1637227

I need to break down and buy a safe...

you should consider it an investment. I finally did it over a year ago. Turning point was my children and them getting into everything. The safe immediately puts our minds at ease. I’m still in my starter home and didn’t want to leave a safe behind. I researched and it cost more to move a safe vs new purchase all together, and most folks will include it with a home sale. I found a company called Zanotti Armory. The safe are able to be broken down and transported in pieces. I was able to pick every detail on the safe. Seems to suit my needs for many years to come. And can easily disassemble this monster when the time comes

Wow what an awesome carry gun! Does it have one of those sweet fluted barrels?

Yes sir. It sure does. I was happy and sad when I got it. Happy because I found what I have been looking for...the perfect carry gun, IMO. Sad because I found the perfect carry gun. :) For those that understand the thrill of the hunt, you know what I mean. That is half the fun.

That is a very nice pistol. 9mm gets you 19 rounds. Have you shot it yet?

Were you able to check these out before ordering? I see this one can be ordered with a short grip 15 rd? Wonder how it feels and how much difference it would make with concealability? I've been eying the WC EDC X9 and am almost ready to buy, but now I am seriously thinking about getting this one instead

No sir, I was not able to see/feel/tryout at all. I just took the gamble. The 19 round version has a grip that it about an inch longer than the 15 round and comes with a beveled bottom. I am sure the 15 round would conceal a little better if you are carrying IWB. ( I still do appendix carry with the 19 round version.) Plus I do carry this in an OWB holster under a suit jacket as well. I just thought the extra 4 rounds would be worth the trade off in a little concealability.

Yes sir. Shoots very nice. Trigger is awesome. 2 youtube video reviews have just come out on this gun even though I have had mine for months. They are now in high demand.
I think I read somewhere else that the trigger on the SAS II Ultralight is exceptional. Glad you're very pleased with it.

I'm in the middle of refinancing my house now, so once I am clear of all the account verifications I think I will order a SAS II Ultralight. Just not sure if I wan't the 15 or 19 round...Thanks @BLUEPSTU for posting.

If I bought an SAS II Ultralight, the 15 or 19 round question wouldn't matter, since up here in Demorat Connecticut we're limited to a max of 10 round magazines.
