Advice for self defense/personal carry rounds for a S&W 6906 (9mm)? Only ever put range rds through it.

I'll be looking in to an IWB holster for it too

Speer Gold Dot, Federal HST...Whatever you buy, put a magazine or two thru the gun to make sure it will eat it....You don't want an FTF in a self defense situation.

Nice! How are you liking your Sig 365? How does it shoot (as a micro-compact?

Is this the model you purchased a while back?

Just picked mine up yesterday, haven't shot it yet. Several weeks ago, my son and I rented both the Glock 43 and Sig P365 at the local range. We both preferred the Sig. Definitely fit our hands better.

My Sig also has the manual safety. With as much as I handle firearms, I just feel more comfortable with a manual safety.

Sig offers 3 different versions of the P365:

I really like the flush-mounted sight on the SAS (Sig Anti-Snag), but it's not available with a manual safety. Ya, I know it defeats the purpose of anti-snag - lol.

Some reviews also complained that there's no need for it to have a ported barrel. I understand the objective. IDK, IMHO it's correct for a SAS model. I would really like to shoot one sometime.

I was looking at 43s too and want to like it, but just didn't have the round count. This FN has a 12 RD mag.

Ta-da! You can purchase 12 and 15 rd mags:

Customer reviews said that the 15 rd mag looks kinda half-baked because the back of the mag is flat, no tail. Agree. Also may have metal finish and feed issues:

In addition to the 12rd mag, mine also came with a 17rd mag that has spacer, which looks goofy as **** and I will probably only use it at the range. I think 12rds is pretty damn good for a compact/sub-compact. I'd have no problem running that 12 rounder on your P365

Well I own a Glock 43 now too lol. My buddy at the LGS called me with a deal I couldn’t pass up on it. Hopefully I’ll shoot it tomorrow. I love the my Sig 365 and I’m not sure this will wow me like the sig did.

I’ve always felt that glock’s were soulless hunks of plastic with crappy triggers, horrible sights and bad ergo’s; however, they are the best at going bang and being on target when I need them to go bang be on target so I always have one near by LOL.

I like the look of it without the rail. It would be nice if glock made a carry version of the 19 minus the rail.

I really like mine. I just wish the round count was that of a P365 or Hellcat. I do have a plus two. I pocket carry mine.
