whats funny is, when I first came across a glock back in the very early 2000s…. I found it to be a really crude and bland example of a gun…. It wasnt till many many years later I came to realize the beauty in the design…
100%

I got the 43X over all the competition because it was just a simple, slim G19 that works.

I don't care it's not cut for a red dot, since I don't plant to add one. I don't care it's not railed, since I don't plan to ad a light. I don't care about grip modules since I don't plan to change it.

Just arrived 66-2.

Love it.

Thinking of dropping it off with Nelson Ford to get the full refresh. $270

All actions receive: complete double action trigger rework. Complete headspacing and timing corrections. Radius trigger. Forcing cone correction and detailed, clean, and oil. All guns test fired and test targets provided

I'm a sucker for a good S&W revolver.

Currently thinking about picking up a 329PD

Nice addition. Your first revolver? I tried a S&W revolver (Performance Center Model 19 Carry Comp) a few years ago but just couldn't get comfortable with it. My accuracy with it sucked! I blame me, not the revolver. I really wanted to love it. Such a classic.

Third.

First handgun was a Colt Snub Detective I carried in an ankle holster after a bunch of plant shootings in 2007.

Gave that to my Ex after we broke up.

Later bought a 686-6, an unfired trade in at the LGS. Paid $500 cash even though I was looking for a 4" or Snub. Had that for 10 years now maybe?

Tell me about it, just picked up a MP Compact Pro Comp to replace my EDC 40c and am already looking for a mouse size update for my Bodyguard 1.0.

I had a feeling you maybe had more than one. The ones you already have are really nice. I see a revolver with a shorter barrel and I immediately think 'detective'. Gotta admit that revolvers are much nicer looking than pistols in general.

Congratulations on the new acquisition. If I didn't already have two S&Ws, I'd like pick up that MP Compact Pro Comp (Performance Center). I do like both of my 9mm S&Ws. I bought this Performance Center Shield Plus in 2022.

Nice. I have been looking at new production 66s in 2 3/4 length. I believe the frame size is different between the new and old production?

I was looking real hard at the new Shield Pro Comp, it all came down the capacity for me. The Shields grip with its 15rd mag was longer than the Compact with 15rds so I didnt get it. Now Im trying to convince myself I dont need a new Bodyguard 2 (12+1 380acp) and that a Hellcat Pro (15+1 9mm) is too close in size to my new Compact Pro Comp. Its rare that I have printing issues with something the size of my 40c but am confident a thinner pistol with more capacity would make me feel better than when I am only 6+1 with my 380 Bodyguard 1.0.
