Aww he taking a nap.

I always love how killing Coyotes (wild dogs) is totally cool but people lose their shit if you start taking out feral cats.
I work with someone who has a small farm with chickens, goats, bee hives, and vegetable garden. They got a couple of "barn cat's", not really feral or your typical housecat. They do a amazing job with rat and rabbit control that's why the got them. The one cat Toby thinks he's a goat, always hanging out, sleeping with them it's pretty funny. I'm bias a bit I do like cats and would rather have one than a dog.

Agreed.

One of the best things about my cat is she doesn't bark.

I think we can go ahead and like both (cats and dogs)… no real reason to be anti one…. both have been domesticated (even ferals, with a bit of coaching) and have their purpose…

For sure. My wife, in all her infinite wisdom, has made me realize my issue with dogs is almost always a direct reflection of the owners shortcomings.

When I am in Hawaii, I usually visit Lenai, which is an island off the coast of Maui.

Maui was a whaling port and the whaling ships had cats to keep the mice in check. They would escape while in port and have since eradicated all the birds.

Because Hawaiians are pussies, they don't kill the cats, but instead round them up and ship them off to Lenai. It is like Devils Island but for cats.

This is is what it looks like.

Those are some healthy looking cats. Who the hell is feeding them?
And isn't Lanai privately owned?

Politicians are not to be trusted.

Correct, Lenai is owned by Larry Ellison. The public is still allowed though. There is a Ritz Carlton on one side of the island. My wife and I went jeeping there in October.

The cats live in a sanctuary and are fed by volunteers. I give them money when I am there. Next time I will make a donation in @ZYBORG name.
