What? Lots of performance cars don’t get great mileage. It also only cost me about $6 to drive about 200 miles, how much does it cost you in gas to go that far? A moderately equipped crossover costs more than $35k these days, compared to a lot in the performance bracket, not much can keep up with it for the price. The Performance Model 3 does 0-60 in about 3 seconds and the 1/4 mile in about 11.5 and costs about $54k. I also used to own a Cadillac ATS that MSRP was more than my LR AWD and wasn’t as good as a vehicle as the my Model 3. Think what you want but they’re great cars for the price. Model S with Ludicrous is about $100k, add FSD it’s another $7k. They’ve dropped in price. My LR AWD Model 3 was about $50k, has everything except for FSD. Not much can touch the Performance at this price. I can also get an acceleration boost for $2k and get another 1/2 second off the 0-60 time and drop about the same off 1/4 mile. Guys are running about 11.8 @ 117 with this boost, and don’t have to hardly lift a finger. 2 clicks on the app and it downloads and you got it. Plus software updates for free and the car keeps getting better. How many other vehicles can you say that about? Cool. Enjoy what you own, let others enjoy what they own. That’s why there’s choices, if we all drove the same thing it’d be a boring world.
