While that may be a world record lap, an unobjective observer can honestly say there’s 2 seconds to be shaved from that lap time. A tenth here and 2 tenths there is pretty easy to see if you watch the lap 5-6 times or have run it a lot. I’m not discrediting the lap at all, I’m sure the driver knows he can pull another 2 seconds out in a perfect run. •just the braking on the very first turn experiences sway during downshifts •many of the corners aren’t take. Out to the mid point of the curbing •he rides the limited of 2nd on the 3rd fairway •shift speed all around was good but can be faster Again not talking shit, but saying the gt500 keeps up with the acr because of this particular track is a reach imo. While the gt500 is seemingly very good, this run in the viper imo is leaving about 3-5% on the table. I want to see Randy phobsts at Laguna Seca run the acr and gt500 tp carbon both same day etc. I expect a 2 second gap.
