The stock all leather wheel had started to crack up on the top of the wheel after sitting in a hot shop for a while without moving. Was going to get the BOSS wheel all alcantara...but at ~$400 I was going to live with the cracks... Then I found the 2010-12 GT500 wheel... Mixture of leather and alcantara... matches the seats perfectly... <$230 new... then I can get another $40 core charge back from Ford with the stocker... SOLD! Only issue is the cruise cand track apps buttons on my premium wheel didn't match. After disconnecting the battery so the takata claymore didn't blow it took two 8mm bolts to pull the airbag and one big 24mm (needed extensions on both) to disconnect/ reconnect the wheel hub. 3 cable harness, the main and two to the airbag. I just swapped the harnesses, slid the buttons inward towards the center of the wheel to remove them and reversed the dissassembly... in less than half an hour had it swapped out. Did add a liberal line of Loctite on that 24mm... lol Sent from my Note9
