GT500 Front End On a GT

I'm looking to get the 13/14 gt500 front end on my GT (without the badging of course). Has anyone made it work with only the basics? Like with only the bumper cover, grills, radiator cover? Or is EVERYTHING (radiator supports, foam absorber, wind deflector, splash guard, etc) absolutely necessary?

You can mod the GT foam absorber and splash guard. Ive been looking into doing this on my 11, just need to kind out how much lower it will sit vs the CS front end with boss splitter.

I'm planning on ordering only the radiator cover and bumper cover and trying to make it work, but I've heard it doesn't sit right without bumper supports and whatnot.
