I have a 2011 GT500 with VMP Gen2r, boost a pump, injectors, 2.52 pulley. My factory boost gauge reads 15lbs maxes out the gauge. Car was in at the dealer and they flashed my PSCM. Since they did that i reflashed my tune just in case it reset my car back to stock. Now my cars factory gauge is reading at max 10lbs of boost. AFR are fine. IAT are fine. No belt slippage. Any ideas why this is happening? Am i genuinely down on boost or is the cars factory gauge all messed up now since the PSCM update.

I don't see how flashing your Power Steering Control Module would affect your boost gage. The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) receives the boost gauge data from the PCM over the High-Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) communication bus. The flash should not have affected that calculation from the PCM.

*Check and see if you are getting any U codes (invalid Data) in your IPC or PCM.

Boost is inferred by the factory computer so it’s not a real boost gauge and not accurate with your pullied TVS.
Is the car running the same?
If all else is happy I wouldn’t worry about the factory boost gauge reading.

Checked that nothing. Just bought this car a month and half ago. It was reading 15psi entire time. I did have occasional wrench light P0100. So at first i thought it was that changed the maf sensor and no luck. Car is only reading maxed out at the 2nd notch (10psi). Car feels fine but just weird.

Yea car feels the same to me. Just strange a week prior the gauge was working fine and now only reads max 10psi.

I understand. It does sound odd. But I have to agree with @biminiLX . If the car feels the same don't let it bother you. If you really want to see and data log boost, go with a Ngauge or another type of data logging device and set it up with an analog sensor like Zeitronix (MAP) Boost Sensors. Check out some of zeitronix equipment. Good stuff! I did the same thing for my Shelby. But I data log everything.

I appreciate the response. I wish i could datalog but i do not have any software to do so only snap on scanner but it wont read manifold absolute pressure unfortunately.

Ngauge is the way to go. Easy to set up. They pop up on eBay from time to time.

I honestly might run to a local speedshop and just quickly wire up a mechanical gauge to see where its at.
I had an AEM trueboost gauge and AEM A/F gauge in my 08 GT500, looked awesome and I always knew my actual PSI. Might be something to look into.

You can get a reasonably priced gauge and install it in the air vent and still get air from the vent too (Rousch vent gauge support). This is a mechanical gauge with blue lighting that is extremely close to the blue lighting on the stock gauges.
I could no longer trust the accuracy of the factory gauge once my mods were done and re-tuned,,,the factory only went to 15 and the tuner was reading 19 on his gauges. Gen 2R also with 2.5 and probably a lot of the same upgrades.
