Gt350 starter solenoid snapped!

So the signal terminal on the starter solenoid completely snapped off. The pic is not mine but it’s exactly what happened to mine. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, why? Did Ford replace it? Etc

Wow, that seems really unusual. Like @me32 said, do you have any idea what caused it? Was it maybe (??) cracked from the factory and over time just sheared off?

I'd check for adequate strain relief on the harness that attached to the broken post.
