GT350/R exhaust

Hey guys,

I am supposed to be picking up my GT350 in the next day or two. I was wondering about the difference between the 350 and 350R exhaust. I think I remember reading the R doesn't have resonators in front of the mufflers like the 350??? If that is the case can the R exhaust be swapped to a 350 and ordered through Ford parts? Would you still have flap functionality? Thanks.

Same exhaust except that the R exhaust has no resonators. You can just have a muffler shop cut them out and replace with straight pipe. Much cheaper.

Perfect! That's what I was wondering as well. A heck of a lot cheaper, like you said. Guess I'll see if it needs to be louder once I've had it for awhile.

Yes, should be ~$100 to get them cut out and replaced with some pipe
