Damn! I definitely didn't see that. There was a group of BMW owners that had rented the track for the day and they had invited George and his father. I was there to help George validate his latest GT350 shifter. We installed it the night before. George drove his McLaren 570S and I drove his GT350 since I flew down and didn't bring mine. After a quick driver meeting the BMW guys went out and buzzed around for a bit. George goes out on his first lap and scorches the earth, flying down the straight at ~170mph (GT350 could only hit 144mph at the same spot). Heads spin and jaws drop. He pulled into the pits and I got in with him. I'm going to be completely honest with you. George took off and gave her all she had....my vision was becoming blurry until he braked for the first turn. Ho lee crap is that thing fast! Shocker is how well it performs in the turns with such skinny tires too. Many of the BMW guys were gone after lunch and we found ourselves the only ones out there in the afternoon. It was a great day. Shifter kicked ass, I now need glasses in order to see, and the splitter on the GT350 stayed in place. :)
