GT 500 Strut Mounts

Does the notch in the mount go in (Engine side) or out? Or does it matter?

installed as ford recommends, the arrows face out, point the arrows in to gain back some camber after lowering

Ok, I'm staying at stock height and putting Koni adjustable struts in. So arrows out. Gotcha. Thanks. Man those stock mounts look weak.
