I was looking for a replacement dry filter for my FRPP intake for my '07.

So I asked around and was told AirRaid might be able to make a custom filter for me since I already tried their SynthMax filter and it was too small. Well after several back and forth emails I found out they apparently don't make custom filters.

Anyway... if someone knows a company that actually makes custom filters I'd appreciate their info.

The measurements for the stock filter on the FRPP kit are

6 1/8" - Inner Diameter
9" - Length
5" - Diameter Top

Is that something you can make, and if not do you know of any company that might make a custom filter?

Thank you for the photos. In research I found the Ford part number is M-9601-D. The AIRAID Filters that have the same dimensions are:

700-461 - Red Oiled Style

701-461 - Red Dry Style

702-461 - Black Dry Style

703-461 - Blue Dry Style

They are all washable and reusable. The oiled style used cleaning kit 790-551 and the dry filters have to use 790-558.

I've already bought 703-461, and it is too small to fit on the intake.

The 703-461 has a 6" inner diamater on the base and I need 6 1/8"

The ( M-9601-D ) FRPP filter has a 6 1/8" ID.. ( slips over my FRPP 140mm MAF )

Try S&B Filters. I know they did take orders for custom filters not too long ago. My Ford Racing/Whipple kit came with a S&B filter.

I know they will make custom orders but you have to have a group buy. I got one but I think they needed like 10 before they would do it. A forum member on that udder forum did all the leg work on it. Also I have a JLT so different dimensions apparently.

10 is standard when wanting a one off component. There's no way to make a profit on a single sale.

So how much would it be if 10 people would be interested? I have the Ford racing cobra jet 123mm maf. Uses the same filter as the 113mm ford racing kit and the whipple CAI kit.
