With the on again off again showers day one's autocross action was postponed until day two. Since this weekend is the Sponsor Shootout all the big names were there, and with only one good day to lay down a solid time, it proved to be some good white knuckled racing. After a few hot laps on day two to help finish drying the track, the 25 competitors took to the staging lane to wait their turn on this weekends gauntlet. With a $5,000 prize to the winner of the Sponsor Shootout all of the big dogs left the porch to come compete. The Ridetech Stable had a respectable weekend even with all of the stiff competition. Below are the results
The 64' Barn Find Corvette has half the tire and half the horsepower, but nearly beat half of the field! The 64' is running our Level 3 Coilover suspension with a set of Baer Brakes and Falken Tires. All in all, it was a great weekend with a big crowd both in the car show and the auto cross event. If you ever find your self at a Good-Guys Event stop by the track and ask one of our guys for a ride. They will be more than happy to plant you in your seat.
