Going built now.

Long story short I blew my stock motor last night in my Lightning. So now its come down to getting a built motor. I want to hear from the guys who have a built motor in their Lightning. What would y'all recommend buying? I'd like to run around 800hp with a 2.3 Whipple.

That's the goal I want to run a 2.3L Whipple on the built motor.

Yeah a KB s/c would be unique on the truck that's for sure.

Do some research and make sure you pick the right cams.

i dont see you getting 800 hp out of a 2.3 and specially not on pump gas. what size motor are you going to run.

im completely built bottom to top and i make a little over 600
