Getting out of a Lease..

hey guys.. wondering if any of you have experience getting out of a lease early. We have a 05 Pathfinder that we still have 19 payments on. Do I have to go through a Dealer or can I sell it out right? I forget how it works..

Any help would be great.

I don't know about Nissan, but at Saturn sometimes you can turn it in early as long as you're going to buy or lease a newer, more expensive car from them.

With GM products they will wipe out your last 3-10 payments on a trade in on another GM product. GMAC will take a few payments as well as the dealer. Not sure about nissan. my friend just got out of his lease using swap a lease. Good deals.
