Had some health issues the last 6 months and had not done much to the old Lightning. Getting back to it and here is some pics of what we finished up this weekend. We still have a bunch of bracket and stuff to finish painting before we start assembling the front end. I think the sonic blue looks pretty sweet.

Chris (Blowerslut) from A1 Performance Transmission came over today and we got alot done on the truck. We Installed the PI converter in the trans Chris built and put the motor and trans in the truck. With that trans, converter and the Punisher super comp valve body she should really rock. Here's a few pics.

Amazing looking truck. I always liked the first-gen Lightnings, and a built one with twin turbos and a Sonic Blue paint job is right up my alley! Can't wait to see more progress.
My buddy Rudy came over and tacked some of the hot side together today. Chris replaced the bad shock/spring purch the other weekend. He also put the new Bilsteins and Belltech springs on. Next week the fiberglass springs and long bars go on.
Hotside is back. My buddy had some spare time and bolted it up for me.
