I do before the install?

Putting a 2015 f150 5.0 in a 1970 F100. The engine was pulled from a 2015 F150, ~90k miles. We started it on an engine stand and seemed to run well, with no exhaust so really couldn'thear anything. What should I check/do while the engine is out, if anything??

Thanks

Not that you're still waiting for replies, but I'd strip everything out of the F-100 and put as many features from the 2015 in it as you can. Dash, seats, cluster, A/C, power windows and locks, pedals, braking system w/ABS- the works. Turn it into a nice truck. Of course, unless you're going to upgrade the suspension it'll just go fast. It'd be great to transfer the K-member and front suspension from the 2015 (or get a Crown Vic front end) and weld it into the '70 and upgrade the rear components and have a really special ride.

Sorry for the delayed response.

Doing an IFS w/coil overs and a 4 link at the rear. None of the things you stated as I want the old classic look.
