Anybody know what the capacity and oil type for a gen 1 tvs 2.3 is? Gm sells it, not sure if it will work.

You can use GM or Ford's supercharger oil in any Eaton TVS. Total fill is about 8-10 ounces (if I recall correctly), not very much.
