"it's like they're trying to increase gas prices" no shit Sherlock.

Although it does beg the question - are those stations out because of delivery driver issues or supply at the rack? On the east coast my suppliers are saying things have settled for the moment and don't have immediate inventory concerns.

I would not be surprised if we hear talk of diesel rationing by end of summer

Yes over $7.50 an it is depression time no other way as they said $5 was the tipping point on the economy being able to function before the D word would happen as anything more and people couldn't afford to do anything or do anything and that included their jobs and so fund these idiots in Washington DC.

It is almost like the Dems want to destroy the country and their party and just decided to go to warp speed in order to do it.

I am calling it now if Gas does go past $7.50 it'll be 20 years before another Dem sees the White House that is if they actually do the right thing and purge their party of all hard leftest, Commies and Socialist

You'd have to be flirting with the poverty line already for $5/gallon gas makes it so you can't afford to get to work. Most average people should be able to absorb that increase without too much issue.

Doesn't make it right to allow prices to get that high, I just don't buy that $5 a gallon stops people from getting to work.

I doubt it.

It will most likely create more dependence on government.

Depends I guess. I buy a tank every other week if I am going into the office every day, so if gas went from $3 to 6 that's another $125 a month I spend ($66 a tank)

That's a couple days of eating out. But if I drove twice as far to get to work, it'd be $250, and I could see that cutting into the budget if it was already tight. Add a spouse in there with the same commute and that's $500 a month. That's a car payment.

20 years before another Dem sees the WH? Talk about a silver lining! I'd pay $10/gal for gas right now if you told me Dems wouldn't sniff Pennsylvania Avenue until at least 2042.

I agree, $5/gallon hasn't stopped the freight train that is American consumerism. However, if prices double, everything is going to cost more, so it will be a domino effect. The middle class and upwards are just absorbing the higher costs right now because they can. Those near or under the poverty line are really struggling...homelessness is accelerating, property crime is way up everywhere (stealing to sell goods to make ends meet), etc. Stay locked & loaded.
I might have to start dailying the Cobra on E85.
I don't see a down side to this! LOL

If that's what it takes, so be it. Lets also do the same with gasoline. Show people, no, teach people elections have consequences and electing a jackass certainly does have consequence.
Nailed it.

And oh, by the way, there is no relief in sight because as Bloomberg points out in this article, the Dems accelerated timeline to eradicate the world of fossil fuels is discouraging oil producers to ramp up production. Supply is getting thin.

Didn't the dems want to send out gas rebate payments?
Yep.

More "free" sh!#.

It's easy to see how government is the only solution. Keep voting Democrat, it will only cost you everything.

I've said before, the Dems don't plan to hand power back. Eric Holder is pressuring the AG to arrest Trump and top Republicans and charge them with trying to overthrow the government. Biden said yesterday he no longer recognizes the Republican party as a legitimate political party. The White House said they are planning on a summer of violence due to abortion. On top of that, they are claiming that 100,000,000 cases of Covid will miraculously happen near election time spurring unlimited mail in voting
From pedophile teachers having girls act out pornographic scenes in class (Nevada) to trans freaks telling kids they really are not the correct sex, these are not things people trying to win a popularity contest do. Hell, the White House said the Supreme Court might get burned down. I wonder how many Democrat politicians will be paying the mob to do it.
