Gas pedal loose? I'm worried..

So today I was detailing the Cobra and when I was cleaning around the Accelerator Pedal it is VERY VERY VERY Easy to pull up on. Like no tension on it at all. Car drives great, No heisitation or anything So is this normal or what? Is it supposed to be able to be easy to pull on the Gas pedal or what?


Help me out here guys.

Yeah it's fine man from what I've seen all my past vehicles are like that. Nothing to be concerned with

I know a while back Aaron, had his gas pedal break off while racing...but I agree, mine's real loose too

Doesn't have any resistance because there's no tension on the cable when you're sitting at idle height. Normal.

Do the gas pedal mod to take up the slack. Then that gas pedal will be real stiff. Great mod.

I agree, I did the gas pedal mod when I first bought the car and it feels much better. Look in the "Free mods" sticky and links, its in there.
