I turned my carport into a one car garage over last summer, did everything myself. put 4 coats of sherwin williams epoxy on the floor, chips, and then two coats of Rexthane on top. wearing a respirator. quoted cost on the floor was $2800. I used a better epoxy. total cost about $750. took about two weeks for the floor allowing curing time between coats. couple of months for the project working evenings and weekends. I would have loved to expand but the cost would been prohibitive.
Total cost $4600.

Can I see more pics of the house before and after the garage went up? I've been thinking of doing this with my carport as well.

If your carport gets much sun it will yellow over time, just something to think about

Brad,
Can we do a follow up on how the new (well 3 year old) garage floor is holding up to go along with ZYBORG's question?

Still looks great, Brad. I like the driveway tiles. Nice touch! My own aspartic coated garage floor is 2 1/2 years old and looks great. So happy I went with that vs. epoxy. Just wish I did it years earlier.
