Galpin does a REALLY good job of ruining good cars. You should the stuff that sits in and outside of G.A.S., some really hideous stuff for incredibly high prices. My favorite was probably in '09, they had a GT500 in their showroom. It was painted satin black, the engine bay was still gloss black (they didn't pull the motor to do the paint job) it had a pulley, intake, exhaust, and a tune, and some satin black matched Shelby wheels. They were asking $110k for this pile. We asked the sales guy for the dyno sheet, he said there was none, but it made 600hp. He didn't know if it was whp or crank hp. We suggested that if they want $100k+ for a half-painted car they should have at least have a dyno sheet for the claimed hp and also to show the tune wasn't lean or all over the place. He pretty much shrugged us off and said "somebody is going to buy this car, don't worry about it. It's a matter of time." He was right, a couple days later some clown paid $95k for it! For every over-priced dud there's a guy with too much money and a mid-life crisis that wants it :)
