funny how he couldnt get it to spin the tires untill he started doing donuts. Either his tires were getting really good hook or he didnt really have that much power. Im thinking that he had really good tires.

IT is compressor surge. Like stated before if the BOV is too small OR if it is adjusted too tight, it will sound like that and "bark" the turbo....NOT good for the turbo.

The blow off valve is adjusted to vent properly when making a transition from high boost to vacuum spike as you can hear on the dyno. Anything other than that and the valve does not open or does not open enough and the you hear the surge come right out of the compressor inlet.

Yeah that guy DEFINATELY needs a bigger BOV and/or needs to loosen up that BOV to let it blow off at lower boost. Ideally 0-1psi it should open after load is released.

It's not the bov, it's compressor surge, and it's horrible for turbo's. That turbo is spinning at +100,000 rpm's and the t.body closes and all the pressure trys to spin the urbo backwards. but yes it does sound funny

no its not compressor surge
TIAL BOV

that is true its the bov tial sounds strange at low boost like that because its meant to let the air out at high psi.tial is a very good bov. they run around 300 and hold good amounts of boost.mine held 40psi just fine with no boost leaks.
