Fuel Tank Lock Ring Wrench: 310-D006

Anyone have one of these or aftermarket equivalent? Had no luck finding one online other then the overpriced OEM wrench. Not too interested in using a hammer & chisel to remove this lock ring from my fuel pump. Be my luck & miss the ring and gouge the tank or worst. I'd give it a shot if the consensus is no one's had an issue using the hammer & chisel. I'm just overly cautious when it comes to working around gas.

Is this what you are looking for? This fits the 2011-18 Mustangs.
Rotunda Part Number: 310-123 - Wrench, Fuel Tank Sender Unit

It looks like this may be the replacement tool for the 310-D006. Check with a Ford dealer to confirm. The 310-D006 works with the 2005-2012 Mustangs and the 310-132 works with the 2011-2018 Mustangs.

I checked with Rotunda and the 310-123 won't work with any Mustang before 2011. I even checked the lock ring and they are also different.

Damn dude, you don't need a $50 special tool. Get a brass punch and a hammer and get at it.

I used a brass punch as well when I changed the fuel pump on my 07 GT. Works great.
