Just thought I would share since some people worry about them.

A thing i want to mention for the guys switching over, 04sleep you can chime in, is once you switch over, should you check your filter a lot and expect to replace it?

The alcohol of the e85 will clean out any crap in the lines. IF that gets past the filter, it could do some damage to an injector or something, right?

Yes, you should check you fuel system after running E85 for awhile. I know i did, and i am pretty sure 04sleeper did also.

I read this as well and bought a couple of extra fuel filters for this reason.

Here is the filter I pulled out after 2 weeks. (keep in mind this one had time to dry.)

Yes I did, but it wasn't necessary as you can see.

Maybe because I had already run E10 (93 Octane) for a while.

Either way I did not have an issue or see any dirt/crap in the filter that came out of the tank/lines.

What filter is this out of? I just received my 10 micron aeromotive filter should I change the element for the 40 micron stainless element? Or will the paper one work

Well this was a paper element and it's what I am going to continue to use.

This is out of my Summit Racing filter.
