Fuel Economy?

I'm blazing through gas driving the 2500 to the new job right now $100+ wk at ~10.5mpg standard.

Would mid teens be possible in a KB 2.2 Cobra with 60#s and 3.31? Would bumping up to a 3.55 or 3.73 actually help?

Haven't touched Satan's Cobra in about a year now.. thinking of getting as MS PNP and giving it a whirl again.

18mpg last time I drove mine long distance. Whipple 2.9, ID1050's, MS3 PNP. I usually see 15mpg on full E85. Around town it's about 10mpg.

Stock T-56, stock 3.55's.

I managed to get low 20's with my old stroker and 80lb injectors. It's all in the tune IMO.

High teens mpg here too on the highway 63 injectors max eaton build. Got 21 mpg highway bone stock. Yes lower gears will help your highway mpg. Try it out and keep your foot out of it. I think you may be pleasantly surprised.

I get either 20 or 12 mpg in mine. 93 though so about 20% worse mileage than 87

3.31 is better for cruising mileage.

Doubt you'd ever save enough gas to make swapping gears worth it.
