[QUOTE="BOOOSTD, post: 15310318, member: 176679"] Hey guys, I’ve done as much reading and trouble shooting on this prior to posting, but I’m stumped and could really use some suggestions. My car is an 04’ vert with 43,000 miles. Suspension setup is basic with H&R race springs, Steeda FLSFC, MM C/C plates, Steeda Bumpsteer, IRS Eccentric camber adjusting bolts, IRS low profile bolts and performance alignment. Just recently, I added the complete full FTBR bushing kit with the milled diff cover – FT 1350M and FT 5001 combo. While there, a new set of FR 373 gears with ARP gear bolts were added and everything inside was found to be in excellent condition. The gear was set to 8 thou backlash and everything has been gone over twice, ensuring that everything is tight, also double checking ½ shaft play, tranny play, DS play, U-joints etc which were all found to be within spec. Nothing really stood out as being the culprit. The car handles like its on rails but now I am getting a clunk between gear shifts which is annoying. I understand that everything is solid now but it’s a pretty loud clunk. I can control the clunk if I let out the clutch super slow, but driving it with some spirit it clunks. If you guys need anymore info on setup etc, please let me know; otherwise I’m all ears and ready to trouble shoot further. Thanks!
