He's a real class act. . . beats his shit to death and lets other people/companies deal with it.
Given the serial number and thread from the other forum, this should be a cut and dry case for you via PayPal.
However, if you want to find out what damage is inside, remove the bolts at the snout and pull the rotors out. Document via video's and pics. If there is still fluid in the blower, it was likely not disassembled yet. If it's dry, the blower has likely already been disassembled. I'd be curios to see what the rotors and case look like once removed.
I'd imagine he also traded in his GT500 with the hurt engine. (removed the blower and other parts, then traded it in on a Vette) Someone will be really getting screwed on that as well.
I've delt with this guy a few times, but will never again. I don't like the 'games' he plays.
I will leave the PayPal case open
I was curious to see how the rotor packs looked myself so I mad another video
The serial number comes out at the end don't worry seer this ain't a different blower before u throw that excuse out there.
3.4 Whipple a scammer sold me - YouTube
I didn't wanna risk opening it and then e throw out another excuse that I messed it up
And yes my sorrow goes out to the person that purchased his car hopefully nothing is wrong with that engine but my looking at the blower the engine prolly isn't perfect
There is a vent hole in the front snout of the blower and the fluid tends to come out of that vent during shipping that is why they ship it dry. If I was the OP I WOULD NOT mess with that blower in any way the seller will just accuse you of swapping out the parts or something along those terms. The polished aluminum piece where the serial number is marked on is the gear case for the blower and the rotor packs are pressed into the gear case so you couldn't swap out the rotor packs without changing the serial number anyways. If the blower was to come apart you could easily match up the score marks in the case to the rotor packs and it could be proven at that time that those rotor packs belong to that case. The rotor packs may even be marked with the corresponding serial number.
