This is my T56 Trans out of my 03 Cobra. Kind of a weird situation here. I took it to a local guy to have it rebuilt and he quoted me more than I expected after he tore it apart. That being said, I bought a Magnum instead. I planned on getting the parts for the T56 to rebuild and then sell it. I have decided to just put it up for sale, as it sits now.
I already blasted and cleaned the trans case thoroughly. It has a 26 spline input shaft, but the output shaft is still stock. I may sell the Pro 5.0 shifter with it if the buyer requests it. I would prefer for a local pick up sale but I will ship it to you, at your expense unfortunately.
I am asking $950 for this transmission as it sits disassembled. Please PM me if interested.
Parts needed for rebuild:
- 1/2 syncro and 3/4 syncro assemblies
- New syncro keys
- New shift fork pads
- Possible 5 or 6 gear replacement
- standard replacement seals/bearings and hardware
