I am only the second owner of this '03 Cobra and have driven it for the last 20k miles of its life. It has been my DD for the past 2 1/2 years and has proven to be very reliable. Unfortunately, at 72,3xx miles a piston ring failed, causing excessive detonation. Since then, I had a Ford Racing Boss 302 short block built by ModMax good for 1000whp professionally installed. The heads were driven to Competition Motorsports in Sarasota, FL where they received a full valve-job. The car was tuned conservatively on 93oct and E85 at Gulf Coast Motorworks in Bonita Springs. The transmission was reconditioned at 74,600 miles by MPS and features a new 26-sp input, synchronizer assemblies, 2nd 3rd & 4th gear synchros, gaskets, and seals. The main reason I'm selling is to buy a mid-size truck to transport my dirtbikes. Name: Ross M.
