FS- 5.0 stuff: Spec flywheel, 347 kit, Calico bearings, balanced/blueprinted Melling

Due to lack of funds, time and just having too many projects, it's time to clear out the parts bin. It kills me to do it as I did a lot of research and spent much time and money compiling these parts to build a road race Notch. Sometimes the best laid plans are just that.... Plans that never pan out. :shrug:


All prices include shipping (except block) to anywhere in the lower 48 via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery. Next day air is extra. I do not trust the USPS, therefor they will not be used.

1: Spec Aluminum flywheel for 1986-1995 5.0 and 5.8 6 bolt motors. Part number: SF82A.

This is for 28oz imbalance but weight can be removed for neutral and custom balancing. New in original box with unopened fasteners. Purchased directly from SPEC. Has some surface rust on ring teeth but that will happen in your car as well. Retails at $369. Asking $260 SHIPPED.

2. Probe/Coast High Performance 347 Street fighter GT/Blue Thunder rotating assembly. Includes cnc forged steel rods, 4.030" forged flat top pistons(with valve cuts), pins, pin retainers, 6 bolt cast steel crankshaft (3.4" stroke), Childs and Albert moly rings (never opened).

NEW, never installed. Pistons were measured to bore and hone block properly. Probe provided Clevite 77 bearings with the kit and they were used to test fit crank and measure clearances. Currently installed in block. Purchase directly from Coast High Performance. Asking $650 SHIPPED.

3. Calico CT-1 dry film Coated Clevite 77 rod and main bearings in std sizing for SB Ford and SB Dodge. New in original boxes. I refuse to use anything but these in the engines I build. I've NEVER had a bearing failure of ANY KIND with these bearings. Hardcore engines deserve hardcore bearings that will last and last!

Purchased directly from Calico. Retail is near $300. Asking $170 SHIPPED.

4. Melling raised volume, standard pressure (adjustable though), SBF oil pump that has been disassembled, de-burred, balanced, blueprinted and PTFE coated internally to resist oil coaking, heat soak and pump failure, then reassembled and safety wired to prevent it from coming apart at the track. BRAND NEW with ARP 12pt mounting bolts.

Custom ordered, custom built pump. Ran me well over $250. Asking $140 SHIPPED.

5. 1995 (If memory serves) 5.0 roller block that has been magnafluxed, hot tanked several times, main line honed, decked, cam line honed, bored .030" over and honed, clearanced for 347 stroker kit, main caps clearanced for girdle, girdle installed with ARP 12pt bolts and Clevite 77 cam bearings installed. All work done by Whitman Racing Engines in Kirkland, WA. Nothing is needed. Brand new in package freeze plugs included as well.

Machine work, as I don't cut corners in engine building cost well over $700 not including the block. I am willing to ship FedEx or another Freight company of buyers choice. Asking $500 not including shipping.
