SOLD. Thank you!

I'm thinking about selling my 1996 Cobra (113k miles) because I'm just not able to spend enough time enjoying it and I could use money for other things in my life right now. With three kids 4 yrs, 2 yrs, and 8 months it's hard to find time to play with the ol' girl anymore. I don't have to sell the car but figured I'd list it and see if anyone is interested. Asking $13,500.

Shorty Mac O/R H-pipe (in preperation for longtubes)

-The stuff to know
The paint has chips and touch up paint spots. The car also has a couple dings.
I haven't put it on the dyno since I upgraded the fuel system and MAF to tune for WOT.
I have the SCT software and and SCT XCalibrator 2 programmer for tuning yourself or having someone else tune it.
The driver side seat has tears in the leather.

Last time the car was dyno'd it made 553hp not sure the torque because the dyno signal wasn't reading it right. I had a boost leak at the throttlebody elbow so we had to shut it down at around 6000rpm due to that and fuel. The injectors at the time were 60lbs and a 255lph fuel pump and were maxing out. Now the car is ready to be pushing well over 600 hp to the wheels with a tune, or you can throw that smaller pulley on there and some headers and make over 700 hp. I just don't have the time or passion I used to have for the car anymore with small kids.

Bump...if the car doesn't sell in the next month or so, I will be parting it out completely. I have a new project I want to start and don't have room for both. 600+ hp for 13k!

A few questions

Any problem with this passing MD ODBII emissions inspection? I see in one of your pics you have a MD tag in the windshield and I live in MD.

Any overheating issues if it is driven extended periods of time?

Is the boost leak fixed that you mention in the description?

Leak down test done on it recently?

If you mean emissions with just plugging in a computer it should pass, there are no check engine lights as the rear o2's are disabled in the tune. I used to live in MD, Im in VA now. The car does not have catalytic converters on it, but I do have the stock midpipe with cats if you want it. The EGR system has been deleted as well.

No overheating issues

The boost leak has been taken care of. It was the coupler to throttle body and has been replaced and no longer leaks

Leak down test done on it recently?

I have not done any leak down tests recently. The motor was built at JLP in Pennsylvania and installed at Competition Speed and Sound in Mechanicsville, MD. It has about 4k miles on the new build. No reason the motor shouldn't be strong and have healthy compression.
:)
