3 months ago I bought two extra 07-09 GT500 OEM wheels and sent them to Weldcraft to be widened to an 18x11" (have invoice) and installed a Mickey Thompson 345/35/18 ET Street II drag radial. Since then I have used them for 5 1/8 mile track passes and ~200 miles of highway driving. The car isn't driven much. This is an excellent setup to make your Shelby hook up, unlike Nitto DRs and street tires. My car is currently 620 rwhp and you dead hook in 2nd gear WOT while moving, no matter what speed. You can still spin them in first, but warm them up and they stick much better. I have 3.73 rear gears.
The only burn out was at the track, and never on the street. Total investment will cost you 1485.00 to do this yourself if you choose to buy extra wheels, and extra TPMS sensors. *TPMS sensors ARE installed in these wheels, and ready to program to your 07-09 PCM*

Wheel surface finish is nearly perfect, and look better than the OEM wheels I got with the car.
