I do not need to sell the car, but I am entertaining offers. This is my 5th Cobra over the years. I always regret it and come back. I'm sure most of you have been there and done that.</p><p></p><p>Only trades I accept are for luxury cars only with cash on top of trade. Trade value $22k. </p><p></p><p>Looking for $21,500 OBO</p><p></p><p>Background information:</p><p></p><p>I purchased this car June of 2013. The car arrived with an extensive amount of smoke coming out from the exhaust. Previous owner assured me it just needed a tune. I instantly arranged an appointment at Modular Power house (MPH) for a Tim Barth tune. </p><p></p><p>Tim called me with the bad news. The top end needed a rebuild. After some consideration, I decided to rebuild the top end with all new parts (all valves, guides, seals, ect) and purchase a built bottom end (MMR 900), The top end of the motor is completely new. Tim attributed the motor loss to a bad tune. It wasn't until I finally got my car on the dyno after the motor was installed did Tim figure out the alternator was the culprit. The alternator wasn't sending enough voltage to the fuel pump after 5300 RPM. </p><p></p><p></p><p>Rather than re-freshening the bottom end, I decided on purchasing a MMR 900 Short block. I bought the block from a member on SVTPerformance (AMiran02GT). My previous motor was the Aluminator (still have the bottom end fully intact) </p><p></p><p>The entire ordeal cost just over $8,000. It was done right. NO short cuts. </p><p></p><p>The MMR block consists of the following:</p><p></p><p>-mmr 900 shortblock - Cast Iron 2004 Cobra Block (std bore)</p><p>-4340 Forged 3.543 stroke Cobra Crankshaft</p><p>-4340 5.933 MMR 900HP H-beam Rods w/ARP rod bolts</p><p>-Forged Manley pistons -18cc (low compression for boost)</p><p>-Total Seal file fit rings</p><p>-Clevite Rod and Main bearings</p><p>-ARP 2000 Head Studs </p><p>-Arp Main Studs</p><p>-MMR Side bolts</p><p>-MELLING High Performance Oil Pump w/Billet Gears #10227</p><p>-15/16 Pick up tube</p><p>-Moroso Oil Pan </p><p></p><p></p><p>RECENT MAINTENANCE:</p><p></p><p>-New Ford Racing alternator</p><p>-New clutch cable (stock)</p><p>-Rear Axle </p><p></p><p></p><p>CONDITION OF VEHICLE: </p><p></p><p>Exterior: </p><p>-A couple touched up rock chips on the hood. Nothing major, but noticeable from up close. </p><p>-3rd brake light is cracked on either end. </p><p>-Convertible top in great condition. NO tears or scratches. </p><p>-Looks like a 9/10 overall. Well kept. </p><p></p><p>Interior:</p><p>-Left door card not holding firmly. However, it does not pop out. Only when forced will it slightly move. Small amount of play. </p><p>-Other than that, the interior is in excellent condition. </p><p></p><p>Engine: </p><p>-Everything that needed to be replaced was replaced. </p><p>-Cross-over pipe was leaking due to shrunken O-rings. They were replaced over a month ago. NO more leak. </p><p>-Dip stick bracket is broken off. Because there are longtubes, replacing it would require their removal. However, Tim recommended a flexible modular dipstick. Costs around $60....Easy fix.</p><p></p><p>Suspension:</p><p>-I was experiencing some coil bind. So I raised the front coils 3/4th of an inch. NO big deal. </p><p>-Everything else has plenty of life left. </p><p></p><p>Brakes:</p><p>-Wilwood Pads have over 80% life left, the material does have a slight squeak every now and then. Nothing horrible. </p><p></p><p>Wheels/Tires:</p><p>-Front tires have maybe 2k on them. </p><p>-Rear tires I would replace soon. But still derivable for another 2000 miles or more. </p><p></p><p>There is an extensive mod list.
