Hey all,
I'm looking to sell my cars, pool my money, and get something new. I've had the car for about three years, and I'm thinking of going the luxury route with my next vehicle. The Focus will go first, but for those interested in my '03 Sonic Blue Lightning, shoot me a message or watch for the thread in the next few months.
I keep receipts for everything I've purchased or had done to the car, so the last three years worth of maintenance is fully documented and (of course) it all comes with the car.
Regular Specs:
2003 SVT Focus 3 Dr in Sonic Blue
#288 / 3985
Mileage 132,7xx
(don't get all butt-hurt about the mileage - new clutch, timing belt,
alternator, battery, plug wires, thermostat housing, plugs, and wheel
bearings were all done in the last 40k)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Asking $7,500
If ten people jump on it for $7,500, I'll go with best offer. If no one wants it at $7,500, I'll be open for reasonable offers. This has been well taken care of.
Regular shots - it's washed but not waxed or detailed at the time of these pictures. I'll shine it up more and take better pics when I get some more free time.
Upgrades and updates to the car (just running through my binder in chronological order):
Diablosport Predator (came with the car when I bought it)
Euro grille (came with the car when I bought it)
Two keys (I am surprised how many used cars only come with one key, and getting new ones made isn't exactly cheap)
Borla Cat Back exhaust (installed at 102k)
Header gasket
New PCV hose (installed at 106k)
Replaced axle seals, serpentine belts, and inner/outer tie rod ends (107k)
Viper 5701 alarm system with remote start for manual trans cars (installed
109k)
Alarm, remote start, and remote window modules
New fog lamps from Ford (installed 110k)
Off road pipe (installed 112k)
New clutch master cylinder (installed 113k)
EAP Recaro interior
Front seats, rear seats, front door panels, and rear hatch interior panels
New shifter surround with heated seat switches connected to factory wiring
Heated seats work great
Ford number pad installed inside gas cap lid
Programmed to unlock doors if you lock the keys inside
Massive brand (installed 114k):
Adjustable lower rear camber/control arms
Adjustable rear toe arms
Front strut bar
Rear strut bar
New e-brake handle (installed 114k)
My original one was missing the leather around the handle
Polyurethane bushing kit (installed 114k)
Custom leather shift boot and e-brake boot
Custom gauge faces
New power steering rack (installed 123k)
Makes a huge difference in how smooth the steering is
Shorty antenna
CFM lower engine mount (not installed)
Just wanted to have a new one on hand in case I have any reason to be
working under the car. Would be good to install the same time the new oil
pan goes on.
New sway bar end links (installed in September 2012 - didn't note mileage)
New SVT shift knob
SAP Diffuser
Projector headlights (installed before I owned the car)
Comes with an extra brand new console and EAP shifter surround still in the box
with brand new Ford stock shift book and e-brake boot.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to go full EAP conversion and add the traction
control. The general consensus is that the car is more preferred without TC,
so I kept this setup in the box in case I wanted to use the extra button for
an additional accessory.
Car cover and bag
All promotional literature (dealer brochure, dealership posters from '03, spec sheet on the SVTF, etc...) I have two window stickers that I had made to the original specs of the car (options, price, original dealership, etc...)
And just because I love the little details, an original Focus CD case from Ford
Fuel filter last replaced at 119k
Last O2 replaced 119k
If there's anything specific you'd like to see, shoot me a reply or a private message and I'll do my best to get them to you.
Thanks,
William
