Yeah, that first safety car couldn't have come at a better time for Max. He's the king of capitalizing.
I know Monaco is almost always a snooze, but its still such a magical location. The "pomp and circumstance" is over the top. We went back in 2018 (year Ricardo won) and we went big (watched race from a yacht etc etc etc). Ricardo was staying at our hotel, and got to meet him in the lobby monday am (he was just there, was not an appearance, he clearly has been up all night). Great trip, great area too (Nice and Cannes are just up the road as well). It's a great tradition I hope continues, as long as Im interested in F1.
It would be different if he was worthy of being on the grid.

^^^FWIW I have been to Monaco, unfortunately is was about a month before the GP, stayed in the hotel right above the tunnel and walked the track. The trip was work related, schlumberger tech conference.. the company I work got invites from our rep.

They should have a race at Spa each year and in Monaco every other year. That would be a good move.
Huh? Monaco is contracted through 2031, but sadly is shifting off Memorial day weekend.
Right, there's been strong talk this will be the last contract.
I was a Ferrari guy, but the V10 era was unreal with the sound. I saw them twice.
