fordbastards represented in the Texas 24 Hours of LeMons race at MSR Houston. We battled the 1st day with an overheating engine that finally blew at the end of day one. We then worked on El Toro Loco all night long and dropped in another 3.0 engine in by 4am we had her ready for day two. MOST HEROIC FIX: #92, El Toro Loco (Ford Taurus SHO, Grand Prairie TX).

The car sat out in the elements for 4 years, besides the rod knock we think one of the heads warped when we got it back running during the test run. Half way through the 1st day of racing it the engine became a steam engine pouring coolant through the radiator and back through the engine it self and then it went BOOM.
