Lots of new technology in the chassis cab lineup, very similar to all the toys you can get in any pickup from Ford. All chassis will have now have modems in the vehicles so they hook up to all other vehicles in the fleet, lane departure warnings, pre collision warnings etc etc. The new F600 you guys spoke about above is coming out to fill the gap between the F550 (19.5 GVW with upgrade pkg) and the F650 at 26,000 GVW. At 22,00 GVW it fills that gap between the two GVW's so the end user can now bump up to get more payload without going to a medium duty truck. New tires on the rear that trac a little wider, an upgraded to the frame, etc give this new truck the added GVW. Its like an F550 on steroids ! We are truck body up fitters for FMC and a chassis pool for FMC as well, dealers and end users were very excited about the news. The truck will not be out for a little while but is very exciting news, unless your Dodge or Chevy !!
Just got back last night from the NTEA Work Truck Show, the company I work for has been an NTEA member now for almost 50 years and our owner was a past president of NTEA just 5 years ago. We attend the show every year and this years reveal of the new truck lineup is awesome.
