Ford GT at the dealership

Was at the dealership today to get some stuff out of my car, while it is being serviced. They cranked it up and I must say, this thing sounds so sick in person. Owner of the car also owns Charlotte Motor Speedway and the ford dealership. He is up in the air about selling it. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, but I did not expect to see this sitting there. :dancenana:

I believe so. I was so focused on the Ford GT I did not realize it was sitting next to it. They also have 4 gt500's right now in the showroom and a couple more Tremors. I was like a kid in a candy store.

There's been one sitting in the Ted Russell dealership showroom off Parkside Dr. in Knoxville TN forever. They have it marked up to $300,000. I'm guessing that is why. Every time I go there I admire the car from afar, then look at the window sticker, laugh for a bit, then walk away.

If i pick up my car Wednesday, I want to see if they will let me take some more pics with my T3 camera. It is nice, I don't know how much the owner would be asking for it, but I know it would be way out of my price range.

Agreed, ford GTs look too busy with stripes.

Stripe delete ford GT? Perfect. Even if its just deleting the door stripe (which is the worst part) and leaving the "ford GT" lettering.

There was one being serviced right before I left my last dealership, was getting the oil changed new rear tires put on (imagine that)

rear tires were ~$600 apiece after dealer markup.

Agree^^. I wish I could drive one, I think out here in concord you can pay to drive exotics around for a hour or 2. Might be on my X-mas list now.

Yeah it's what I like so much about the stripe delete.

That it's so crisp and clean without a bunch of stuff going on. The ford GT body is already quite dramatic and I feel they stripes sometimes take away from how classy it really is.

And as you said, if you don't know what you're looking at without emblems it'd be hard to tell what it even is. Lol
