ford gt and rear gear

ok so we got the ford gt, it has a 3.36:1 rear end ? what would some 4.30 do, roast the tires for days :shrug:

this is one of those cars that you dont need to change the rear gear.
there is easier stuff to do to make it faster

All that car needs is some sticky tires, a pulley change, a good driver and then you can go hunting for sport bikes.

Ok relax sir, I didnt say it could out run all bikes but im sure it could handle at least a stock 600 cc bike.

ohhhhhhhhh that sounds like a challenge. Im pretty sure a GT would handle a sportbike on a roadcourse pretty easily.

The car would be faster in the 1/4 with a shorter first gear. The tall 1st was chosen so the car could do great 0-to-60 stats, by moving the 1-2 shift above 60mph.
