I just noticed this thread.

Very nice Bruce. That looks to me to be the fastest R-model.

I love that dry-sump system.

Is this after or before the new engine (I found it on their website)?

Doc:

Fred has a mighty fast 2000 R model as well!

That pic is my first outing in 2005 with the coil-over suspension.

Who's website did you find that photo on?!?!!

Yes, Fred's car is very fast, but I wonder if he can still stay with you? Fred?

Now there is No Doubt that Fred is a Camaraderie Sommelier when the better adult beverages are served. ;-)

Hey, don't forget about us up here in the Great White North. I think our car would definately hang with any other Cobra R out there. I think we are lighter, running more tire, and I think even more power. To bad we are way out here on the left coast, or we could have a Cobra R death match :burnout:

Are you running a Hyland motor?

No, I am reffering to Tim Browns R, we are running a GT block with ported heads and cams, custom JE pistons, custom LT's, dry sump, G-Forced T-56, return style fuel system, custom dyno tune with Diablo CMR software, and a whole bunch of other stuff. We were running 325 Pirreli slicks on all 4 corners. I still dont know how to post pics or I could share some. I uploaded some to SVTperf's album but that is all I have figured out so far.

The heads are from Huffacker , similar to the setup on the ACS Mustangs that the Davis's run in SCCA world challenge , they have custom valvetrain with the Jesel followers and solid camshafts. The engine was built by Specialty Engineering here in Vancouver with around 13:1 compression .

I think Tim still has us all beat and I'd prefer him to stay on the west coast so we can continue to think that we are all faster!!! :)
