This question is for anyone that make work at a dealer or has traded in a car with a Ford ESP plan on it and received a refund. When you trade in a vehicle that is still covered by the manufactures warranty and did not use any of the ESP purchased warranty yet, do you still only get a small refund from it? Basically the warranty was around $1100 and just got a refund check today for exactly $400 when the vehicle still had almost a full year and only had around 24k miles on it.
Was going to call Ford esp directly to ask but are closed on the weekend. And not calling the dealer to ask as I have had nothing but issues with this Ford dealer with this transaction and will never deal with them again. Kills me as have purchased/traded 3 vehicles from them in the past 3-4 years, guess I'll have to find another Ford dealer near Pgh to spend money at. Just wanted to know if I should have gotten a greater % back before I call up and let them have it again or if thats just the way it goes.
